Malloy is a simple query language made for analytics. The queries are easy to understand and pragmatic and translate to SQL, optimized for a database.

Everyone needs to know the dimensional model, even if just to decide to do things differently. Madison is an expert on dbt and dimensional modeling and a great guide on this topic.

This tool is an interesting framework from Nike to develop Databricks data flows in Python, coupled with a CLI for ease of use.

The ugly upsert operation in SQL; explained and explored in detail.

CapitalOne makes a good case for the use of automated data quality solutions. They even published an open-source framework to help called DataProfiler.
